My muse is having an insanely difficult time staying in check this week and it's only MONDAY! :O This could be an amazing thing or it could be horrible, only one way to find out, sit down and WRITE! Which I have every intention of doing as soon as I am done with laundry and cleaning out the kitty box...yuck. :)
I am in a good mood, have some energy, got some cleaning done and bills paid.. yeah it's going to be a great Monday! I slept a little later than I had intended to this *ahem* afternoon *cough* but I got up and going as soon as I was awake. And feeling even more productive with each passing moment.
*Update*
I am still weighing in at 148, but the good news is that I didn't GAIN weight this past week. :) I am excited about that. A yoga stretch, pt and some running around in the front yard are on my list of things to do before I have to go to work at 5. Wow, I have a lot to do in just 2.5 hours, but I can get it done! I feel like superwoman today! *insert superhero theme song here*
I have been good about eating fruits, and salads the last few days and drinking lots of water and trying to cut back on my soda intake again. I have been fighting with my sinuses for about a month or more now, ugh, they need to disappear. (That would make me happiest) But the sinus pressure isn't as bad today as it was yesterday, thank goodness. Since I thought it was a caffeine headache, I have been allowing myself some Mountain Dew while I was working. It also helps me stay awake throughout my shift. As long as I stop drinking it by about 9 p.m. I can sleep that night and I have enough energy to keep me moving until I can flop into my bed at night.
*Simple Moment of the Day*
I am able to open my window in my room for the first time in a couple of months today. The sun is out and a nice breeze is blowing. I can hear all the bugs making their own specific noises and it's a nice feeling of peace. I am not bothered by anyone and can definitely tell a major difference in my personality. I also have a candle lit right now so the smell of it is just as enticing as the sound of the crickets and other outdoor noises.
Until next time,
Remember the Simple Things in Life.
